ELLE Magazine To Honor Esteemed Women At 16th Annual Women in Hollywood Event

NEW YORK, NY -- ELLE, the world's largest fashion magazine, today announced the line up for this year's 16th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills Hotel on October 19.

Together with presenting sponsors Calvin Klein Collection and L'Oreal Paris, Elle will bring together an intimate group of Hollywood's best and brightest talent for a celebration dinner honoring women's achievements in film. Additional sponsors include David Yurman & Moet & Chandon.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Working with legendary action film director McG is an actor's dream, and it was one which came true for Access Hollywood's latest Rising Star, Sam Worthington, after he joined the cast of "Terminator Salvation."

"I do every movie because of the director," the 32-year-old Australian told Access Hollywood. "McG - he's such an enthusiastic, passionate [director] that he was the reason I signed on."

Abrams ("Mission: Impossible III") and smartly co-written by Roberto Orci & Alex Kurtzman ("Transformers"), the eleventh feature in the long-running series is not just a great "Star Trek" movie -- it's a great movie, period. And for that reason alone, Gene Roddenberry -- who created "Star Trek" 43 years ago -- would have been proud.
