Reuters - The news of the cancellation of ABC's "Ugly Betty" had barely hit the Internet on Wednesday when the phones of the representatives of star Eric Mabius started ringing off the hook.

NEW YORK, N.Y. -- "Ugly Betty" has been canceled, ABC confirmed to Access Hollywood on Tuesday.

The show, which stars America Ferrera as Betty Suarez, a spectacled and braces-wearing fashion mag assistant, will walk its last primetime runway in April.
