NEW YORK, New York -- Mischa Barton's "The Beautiful Life" may have been short-lived, but the actress said the canceled CW series showed a lot of promise.

In fact, she says, the best was yet to come.

NEW YORK, New York -- Mischa Barton's "The Beautiful Life: TBL" may be over, but the star said she's already looking at new projects following the cancellation of The CW freshman series.

"There's a bunch of projects I always wanted to make, so I'm going back to thinking about things again," she told the New York Post. "I just started looking at films."
