'Survivor's' Richard Hatch To Remain Behind Bars For Nine More Days

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Former "Survivor" Richard Hatch was scheduled to be released from jail today, but will remain in jail for an additional nine days, Access Hollywood has learned.

"Rich was ordered to an additional 9 days as punishment for allegedly not having obtained the requisite permissions to conduct the Access Hollywood and NBC Channel 10 Providence on-camera interviews, or for calling in to a radio show the following day," Hatch's lawyer, Cynthia M. Ribas told Access.

Richard Hatch's Hearing Postponed Until August 26

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Richard Hatch's hearing has been postponed until August 26 at 9 AM, the former "Survivor" star's lawyer told Access Hollywood on Friday.

"His hearing has been continued... on grounds there is more evidence that needs to be collected and reviewed prior to a determination being made," Cynthia M. Ribas, Richard's legal counsel, told Access.

BOURNE, Mass. -- Original "Survivor" winner Richard Hatch is behind bars in Bourne, Mass., Access Hollywood has confirmed.

Hatch was taken into custody by the Barnstable County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday afternoon, just hours after an interview with "Today's" Matt Lauer, and hours before one with Access Hollywood's Tony Potts, aired on television.
