Stars 'Honored' To Be Part Of 'We Are The World'

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- On Monday night, 80 artists - including singers, rappers and even a few actors - gathered in Hollywood with Lionel Richie and Quincy Jones to record "We Are the World - 25 Years for Haiti," an event in which everyone was grateful to take part.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Charity anthem 'We Are The World' is set to make a return -- but not with Taylor Swift.

Contrary to previous information received by Access Hollywood on Thursday morning, Access has now learned that the country star will be jetting off for her Australian tour directly after the Grammys.

Twenty-five years after its original release, Quincy Jones is spearheading a new recording of "We Are the World" to raise money to help the victims of the earthquake in Haiti.

"It's the 25th anniversary and it's perfect timing," Jones told E! News. "It's not an accident, man. That's God. It will be 'We Are the World' for Haiti."

The original song, written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie and co-produced by Jones, benefitted African famine relief...
