The embattled beauty queen, who was dethroned from the Miss California title last year, became engaged over the weekend to St. Louis Rams quarterback Kyle Boller, Carrie's mother, Francine Coppola, told Access Hollywood on Monday.

"I will say I'm wishing the best for him and his family at a time like this," the 14-time Olympic gold medalist told reporters when asked about the golfer and his recent alleged affairs. "You see who your actual friends are and who will support you."
