LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Paula Abdul may make an appearance after all on "So You Think You Can Dance?," her former boss, ex-"American Idol" producer Nigel Lythgoe, Tweeted on Friday.

"I saw Paula @ the 'Power of Women' event yesterday. I asked her to come on SYTYCD again and she said she would. I hope she means it?" Nigel, a producer and judge on the show, Tweeted.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- The judge's table on FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance" has landed a new permanent dance expert.

Director and choreographer Adam Shankman, whose film credits include "Bedtime Stories," "17 Again," "Hairspray" and "The Wedding Planner," will join judges Mary Murphy and Nigel Lythgoe on the reality competition series. Adam has guest judged the show multiple times in past seasons, including most recently in the preliminary pre-taped rounds this season.
