LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Lights! Camera! Access! Movies have captivated audiences around the world with blockbuster hits from "King Kong" to "Titanic." These films not only wowed the crowds, but they also cost several millions upon millions of dollars to create, market and produce.

With big buzz circulating around the release of James Cameron's "Avatar," a film that cost $190 million to make and 15 years of patience for technology to advance, Access Hollywood takes a look at the films with the highest production costs.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- There's the classic sixties song, "A Whiter Shade Of Pale" and then there's me... the Whitest Shade of Pale.

And while the pale look may work on the big screen, (especially in a period movie starring a British beauty like Keira Knightley or Kate Winslet) it's not the desirable look for TV at all. In other words, what is "porcelain" in a movie is considered "pasty" on TV.

The makeup line made the announcement on Friday.

The star, fresh off her Oscar win for the film "The Reader," will play the title role in the latest adaptation of the James M. Cain novel. Kate's role is that of a bored housewife who tries out the restaurant business - and gets more than she bargained for. A previous version, the 1945 film of the same name, won Joan Crawford an Oscar.

"Thanks, sugar t**s!" Brad told Mel Gibson after the star introduced Brad and "Fight Club" collaborators Edward Norton and David Fincher.
