LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Lies! Blackmail! Manipulation! From "Ugly Betty's" Wilhemina Slater to "Gossip Girl's" Blair Waldorf, these television characters will stop at nothing to get exactly what they want.

The ex-reality star, who has had numerous run-ins with the law since his MTV reality show days, was booked on an assault and minor drinking charges, Radar Online first reported.

The former "Hills" star has become a successful author, with her first novel, "L.A. Candy," hitting the New York Times Bestsellers list; she's in a steady relationship with actor Kyle Howard; she's got a line for Kohls and she's left her MTV reality show.

The 23-year-old told Shape magazine's September 2009 issue that things are good, but getting healthy took time.

"You know, I was never very sexual before I met you, Spencer," she explained. "I knew what sex was, but when I met you I entered into a whole new realm of understanding."

After a symbolic elopement in Mexico last November and a trip to the Beverly Hills courthouse which failed to see them say "I do," the longtime "Hills" couple are seemingly about to go through with the real thing.

At "The Hills" panel at PaleyFest09 in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening, Lauren Conrad revealed that Spencer Pratt, the fianc of her ex-BFF, Heidi Montag, admitted he started the rumor that she recorded an intimate video with former boyfriend, Jason Wahler. And Spencer's admission about the tape - which does not exist -- may possibly be in a future "Hills" episode.

Lauren revealed the news during PaleyFest09 after the panel moderator asked, "Lauren, do you still think Heidi and Spencer are to blame for those sex tape rumors."
