Reuters - "Sex and the City" star Sarah Jessica Parker, Oscar winner Forest Whitaker and agent Bryan Lourd were among big Hollywood names named on Monday as members of U.S. President Barack Obama's Committee on Arts and the Humanities.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- In some ways, the film version of "Where the Wild Things Are" sticks pretty close to the source. But it may be a little too faithful, since there's still not much of a story. In other ways, the movie is incredibly ambitious, but it may be a little too ambitious, depressing and not for kids. Chalk it up to an odd cinematic experience that's visually stunning, but emotionally lacking.

NEW YORK, NY -- Imagine driving down some dusty old Texas road in the middle of summer, and pulling over at a beaten down juke joint in the middle of nowhere to grab a beer. LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Jessica Biel fans won't have to go to the theater to see the actress' new film - it's going straight to DVD.

"Powder Blue," which stars Biel as a stripper alongside Ray Liotta, Forest Whitaker, Patrick Swayze and Lisa Kudrow, will not be released in theaters, Access Hollywood has confirmed.
