Universal"s "Bring It On: The Musical" will be coming to the stage in early 2011, producers announced Wednesday. The show draws its inspiration from the popular films, but is completely original in story. The award-winning creative team includes an array of talented and innovative individuals drawn from the top ranks of the Broadway theatre world. The show will no doubt have its eye on an eventual bow on the Great White Way.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Harold Ramis, along with "Year One" screenwriters Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, who also write for NBC's "The Office," are hard at work on the first draft of the screenplay for "Ghostbusters 3."

But the actor/director/writer told Access Hollywood the movie - which is slated to introduce a whole new generation of Ghostbusters - will only be made if the script is good.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" could be coming back to the big screen - but don't expect to see Angel, Willow, Xander or Spike in the blood sucking big screen reboot.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a big screen remake is in the works with original movie director Fran Rubel Kuzui - who directed 1992's "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" with Kristy Swanson - and her husband, Kaz Kuzui.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- The "Ghostbusters" gang is getting ready to strap on their proton packs once more - with some new recruits.

A long-awaited third film in the series "could be in production by winter," Dan Aykroyd, the star and co-writer of "Ghostbusters"' first two installments, told the LA Times, adding that he hopes stars such as Alyssa Milano and Eliza Dushku sign on to join the ghost-fighting team's second-generation squad.
