NEW YORK, New York -- In anticipation of his first show on March 2, 2009, Jimmy Fallon -- via his first video blog - has unveiled his new studio, which is currently being built, and his band for NBC's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon."

Although there had been murmurs, it wasn't until Monday night that Fallon officially announced that the Grammy winning hip-hop band, The Roots, will be the show's house band, when the "SNL" alum takes over for Conan O'Brien in 2009.

BURBANK, Calif. -- On Monday evening, news broke that Jay Leno, who will vacate the "Tonight Show" seat in spring of 2009 when Conan O'Brien takes over, has a new show lined up at NBC in primetime - and the late night king told Access Hollywood the new show would raise the stakes with higher production values and more daring stunts - possibly even Jay jumping out of an airplane!

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Conan O'Brien has nothing but kind words for Jay Leno, following the "Tonight Show" host's decision to stay with NBC.

On Monday evening, news broke that Leno, who is to vacate the "Tonight Show" seat in spring of next year when O'Brien takes over, has a new show lined up at the network in primetime. And though many suspected O'Brien, who was promised the "Tonight Show" gig in 2004, would be hit hard by the news, he revealed he's known about it for a while.
