LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- When Michael Johns was eliminated from last season's "American Idol" during week five there was a collective gasp of shock. An early favorite (especially among female fans) John's rendition of "Dream On" by Aerosmith, while not his best performance, certainly didn't deserve to get him the Idol boot. Johns is just the type of person this new judges' "save" is hoping to help.

So, you would think that Johns would find this new rule to be a fantastic addition. In fact, he finds it just the opposite.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Last week season seven "American Idol," contestant Brooke White performed her new single on the show and had one piece of advice for the new season eight contestants: 'Don't Google yourself!'

Well, last Friday AccessHollywood.com's Dish of Salt, Laura Saltman, talked with the next three Top 12 Idols - Adam Lambert, Kris Allen and Allison Iraheta, and Adam admitted to Laura he just couldn't help himself.

"I have Googled myself. It's like market research. I don't take anything too seriously but I just think it's interesting to see the public perception. It's a part of our job, I think."

Well, if he Googles himself today, Adam will find some unsavory photos of himself.

Cowell was voted Reality TV's Best Villain in a new poll conducted by AOL Television. The "Idol" judge garnered 39 percent of the vote, while Pratt earned just 10 percent.
